• Haulier Neil Collis Transport of Manchester has been cleared of permitting drivers' hours offences by Rochdale magistrates. The company denied three offences of permitting Gary Hall to drive for more than 4X hours without a break.

Prosecuting, Peter Cave said the offences came to light after police stopped a vehicle driven by Hall.
