Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LEYLAND light commercial vehicles could be using Renault parts in future as a result of talks that have been going on between the two companies over the past few days.

A spokesman told CM that where both Renault and Leyland had been working in common fields – including transmissions – it was possible that a range of vehicles could be fitted with Renault parts.

Talks are confined to carderived vans and light commercials but Renault is known to have a range of heavy duty automatic transmissions that it would like to sell to other manufacturers.

Although there is likely to be a lot of cc-operation between them, Leyland and Renault are still going to be conducted at arms length and on a commercial basis.
