CULL details of appointments to the I Road Passenger Executive and the Road Haulage Executive were announced by the Minister of Transport in the House of Commons on Monday. Members of the Road Passenger Executive are: Chairman, Mr. George Cardwell (£5,000 per annum); whole-time member, Mr. W. Vane Morland (£3,500); part-time members, Mr. James Amos (unpaid), Mr. William Beckett (f750), and Mr. Stanley Kennedy (unpaid).

On appointment to the R.P.E., Mr. Cardwell and Mr. Beckett vacate their appointments with the Road Haulage Executive. Members of the R.P.E. will be appointed for a period ending on September 30, 1952.

Members of the R.H.E. are: Chairman, Major-General G. N. Russell (£5,000); whole-time members, Mr. Claud Barrington, Mr. Harold E. Clay, and Mr. Archibald Henderson (£3,500 per annum each); part-time members, Mr. Henry Dutfield and Mr. Percy J. R. Tapp (£750 per annum each).

The chairman and whole-time members of the R.H.E. are appointed for a period to September 30, 1952, whilst the term for the two part-time members ends on September 30, 1950.
