Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ON Stand 569 D, Thomas Ash and Co., Ltd., 19, Rea Street South, Birmingham, 5, will be showing various examples of its ventilators made specifically for fitting to horse-boxes, van bodies for the conveyance of food stuff, and similar application.

An interesting piece of equipment on Stand 422 E, which will be occupied by Auto-Diesels, Ltd., Uxbridge, Middlesex, will be the Del nozzle tester, a piece of equipment which is capable of producing and holding pressures up to 3,000 lb. per square inch. Its main purpose is for testing hydraulic components and the injector nozzles of oil engines.

A complete range of welding and cutting equipment of particular interest to the agricultural industry, will be

featured by the British Oxygen Co., Ltd., Hockley, Birmingham, on Stand 67 G. Various examples of the manner in which worn ploughshears and agricultural implements can be built up will be a feature of the display.

A representative selection of fuelinjection equipment, including pumps, governors, filters and so on, will be staged by C.A.V., Ltd., Acton, London, W.3, on Stand 433 E. In addition, there will be electrical equipment, including starters, dynamos and control boards suitable for tractor equipment and application to agricultural machinery.

Three new types of tyre will be shown by the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, 24, on Stand 474 E. Amongst these will be

tractive implement tyres designed for use on small two-wheeled tractors, cultivators, and various types of implement where the drive is taken through the tyres. There will also be a full range of normal Dunlop covers, tubes and wheels of types to cover every agricultural requirement,

' FeleĀ° Hoists, Ltd., 17, Victoria Street, Westminster, London, S.W.1, specializes in lifting appliances, of which a number of examples will be shown on Stand 84 G. Of these, one of particular interest is the electric sack-hoist, which has a lifting capacity of up to 280 lb. It is designed primarily for raising loads from ground level to a height of about 4 ft. to facilitate loading a lorries. It can be readily. moved about by one man. This concern will also feature a number of different types of chain block, and roller-bearing, lifting tackle; special attention is drawn to the Felco electric travelling chain block, powered by an electric motor.

The Firestone Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., Great West Road, Brentford, Middlesex, Stand 282 B, will have for inspection a range of tractor tyres and others suited to the needs of all types of agricultural equipment.

The open-centre Sure-Grip-tread tyre, made by the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. (Great Britain), Ltd., .Wolverhampton, will be demonstrated on model tractors which will be seen in motion on Stand 404a B. For the heaviest work on the road there is the Sure-Grip giant tyre, and this, together with many other types of particular interest to the farmer, will be exhibited.

On Stand 336 E, which will be occupied by the India Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., Inchinnan, Renfrewshire, will he shown the maker's super-grip tractor tyres and wheels, and S.M.V. tyres, wheels, axles, hubs and brake-operating gear. The S.M.V. tyre is designed for fitting to equipment which does not exceed 15 m.p.h. Tyres for wheelbarrows and portable appliances will complete the exhibit.

Not only will users of farm machinery be able to inspect a full range of appropriate equipment on Stand 346 C, to be occupied by Joseph Lucas, Ltd., Great King Street, Birmingham, 19, but they will have an opportunity of discussing any problems with technical representatives of this concern. A full range of partsectioned equipment should add greatly to the interest of this display. Amongst the especial equipment to be displayed there will be components specifically arranged for Ferguson, David Brown, Nuffield, Allis Chalmers, the Minneapolis combine harvester, Massey-Harris and Bristol machines.

Hitherto, the Michelin Tyre Co" Ltd., Michelin House, 81, Fulham Road, Landon, S.W.3, has not catered specifically for tractor requirements. On Stand 337 E the company will show for the first time a new tyre produced for this specific service, in addition to a range of tyres for use on farm trailers and similar equipment.

The extended application of the electric welding process for the fabrication and repair of farm implements and machinery will add interest to the exhibit of Murex Welding Processes, Ltd., Waltham Cross, Herts, on Stand 487 E. This concern will be showing a range of electric arc-welding apparatus

and electrodes, and visitors will have an opportunity of witnessing practical demonstrations of electric arc-welding and of discussing any technical problems with which they have been faced.

The Parsons Chain Co., Ltd., Stourport-on-Severn, Worcs, on Stand 74 G will have for inspection a new type of tractor tyre-chain known as the Bull. Easily fitted by one man, these chains have been designed to be self-cleaning and, moreover, sizes are available to fit all types of tractor wheel. Sling chains, timber chains, rope slings and a light alloy Silvester will form other items to

be shown on the Stand of this exhibitor.

Information relative to transport problems, will be answered by experts who will be in attendance on Stand 162 A to be occupied by the Road Haulage Association, Ltd., 146, New Bond Street, London, W.1. The stand will also form a meeting place for members of the Association and their friends. A number of different types of radiator incorporating, special features to suit the requirements of different types of tractor, will form the main exhibit of Serck Radiators, Ltd., Warwick Road, Birmingham, 11, on its Stand 59H. Farmers may also be interested in an oil cooler to be shown, which has been designed for use on tractors which have to o'perate under conditions of great heat.

A large number of pieces of lubrication equipment will be staged by Tecalemit, Ltd., Great .West Road, Brentford, Middlesex, on Stand 246 F. Farmers owning or operating a number of tractors and general-purpose loadcarrying vehicles should make a point of inspecting this concern's mobile servicing unit, which can be used for dispensing oil and grease in the area where the equipment is operating, thus effecting a considerable saving in time. A mobile trolley will form another item of display. This is a compact airoperated servicing unit which can be wheeled up to a tractor or lorry on the farm premises, instead of the machines' having to be driven to a static unit.

Unigon Lubricating Equipment Ltd., 2, South Audley Street, Mayfair, London, S.W.1, will show, on Stand 449 E, a comprehensive range of equipment, including high-pressure greasers, handoperated pressure buckets for dispensing lubricants, spray-gun equipment and Bowser manually operated rotary pumps, suitable for handling tractor fuel, paint, lubricating oils and other liquids.

The, following details concerning the exhibits of Marshall Motor Bodies, Ltd., Airport

Work s, Cambridge, Stand 261 B, were received too late for inclusion in the correct section. This concern will show a three-fourhorse box mounted on a Bedford passenger chassis, a generalpurpose cattle truck which will be displayed built up on a Fordson Thames chassis, and a container-type cattle truck featured on an Austin chassis. A fourth exhibit, which should prove of interest, will be a rigid-sided doubledeck cattle truck which will be shown mounted on a second Fordson Thames chassis.
