Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Minister of Transport has made the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) (Amendment) (No. 41 Regulations 1964. which contains three minor amend

ments to the principal Regulations, and come into force on January 7.

Electrically propelled goods vehicles having an unladen weight of not more than 25 cwt. are exempted from the requirements relating to the minimum diameter of wheels fitted with solid tyres. These vehicles are normally used only on house-to-house deliveries and, because of their low motive power, their maximum speed is unlikely to exceed 20 miles per hour.

The requirements governing the fitting of mirrors on agricultural tractors are amended to make it clear that a mirror must be fitted unless the driver has a full view to the rear.

Locomotives (that is, towing vehicles exceeding 71 tons in weight) no longer require a man in addition to the driver, with the exception of those which are still driven by steam.

Copies of the amending regulations (SI. 1964 No. 1958) may be obtained— price 3d.--from Her Majesty's Stationery Office.
