Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CONSTRUCTED entirely of Stewart and Lloyd's rectangular and box-section mild steel, which Halson Trailers say has proved to be an excellent material for fabricating trailer framework, this car transporter (above) manufactured by Halson is capable of carrying six medium-size cars.

Known as the AT6, this unit is constructed to the new C. and U. regulations and is 42 ft. 7-1in. long. It Is towed by an Albion Clydesdale tractive unit. Hinged at the front end, the top deck is raised and lowered by hydraulic rams at the rear end. Two securing pins are used to support the upper deck when in the operating condition, thus relieving the pressure on the rams at all times except when they are being operated.

On the right-hand side of the top, deck a 9-in.-wide catwalk is provided to enable the driver to walk down after loading cars. This is fitted with a non-slip mesh surface.

Single-axle running gear is used and this carries twin 8.25 by I5-in. tyre equipment. Braking is by a twin-line air pressure system. This particular unit is fitted with the York Big D fifth wheel, but Halson will supply any type to a customer's requirements.

,A lighter model constructed on the same basic lines, and capable of carrying five medium-size cars, is also made by the company. This unit is approximately 37 ft. long. Both models are in production at the Newhaven works and demonstrations can be arranged for interested operators.
