• Ford has introduced two new variants on the Fiesta theme targeted at very different markets.
The Fiesta XRV van (pictured), aimed at "style-conscious urban drivers", features silver metallic paint, 14in alloy wheels and a roof spoiler.
Interior features include an upgraded radio/cassette player, leather-trimmed steering wheel and metallic-grey dash trim.
More practically, the Courier Freshline is an off-the-shelf refrigerated high-cube van based on the Courier 50. Its integrated cooler unit is rated at 700W to cope with frequent door openings.
Both new vans are powered by the 74hp 1.8 TDdi turbo-diesel engine which now meets the Euro-3 emissions standard.
The Fiesta XRV is priced at E8,390 and the Courier Freshline at 111,890 (ex-VAT).
