BRITISH RAILWAYS and British Road Services withdrew their objections to a seven-vehicle contract A to B licence switch bid by Hills Transport (Dinas Powis) Ltd. in Cardiff on Wednesday. The application was granted by the South Wales Licensing Authority. Mr. Ronald R. Jackson.
Mr. L. P. Owens, for the applicant. said Nestle's Holdings (U.K.) Ltd, was a new company with a number of smaller companies under its wings. These companies and associate companies included Nestle's and Crosse and Blackwell. "This contract is to enable Hills Transport to carry out work for Nestle's Holdings tie added.
Mr. David Ashton, South Wales depot manager for Nestle's, said that Nestle's Cardiff depot was the company's only one in South Wales and Hills was needed to transport goods throughout the area.
