The new design for Amsterdam consists of an A,E.C. Regal IV chassis with Verheul body connected to a Kassbohrer semi-trailer also having a Ver

heul body. An 11.3-litre 165 b.h.p. engine is employed and is reported to be completely adequate for the heavy load. Hydraulic servo steering facilitates the work of manceuvring the huge vehicle in heavy traffic.

A turntable at approximately the centre of the vehicle provides for articulation and a bellows, canopy connects the two portions.
