Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CM EXCLUSIVE FORD HAS BEEN spotted testing a Turkish-built tractor unit in the UK, although the company's hossis here deny the company is planning a move on the UK heavy truck market.

Eagle-eyed Commercial Motor reader Mark Lee spotted the white tractor unit, built by Ford Otosan in Turkey and using a heavily modified version of the old Ford Cargo cab, undergoing testing on the Al2 in Essex last month. The fact I hat Ford is tria [ling the trucks here raises the prospect of the automotive giant re-entering the European heavy truck sector. though it is unlikely to sell the truck in Western Europe.

Ford's UK commercial vehicle boss Gary Whittam stresses that the company has "no plans to introduce a truck into the UK market at this stage."

The Cargo is currently built in Turkey and, according to Whittam, it has now been approved to be built to European specification.

Ford might be looking at Eastern Europe as an expanding market for the stylish Cargo tractor,
