• The Association of British Insurers (AB1) has issued its fifth list of approved vehicle security devices. All systems have been evaluated at the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre at Thatcham. A recent ABI survey shows 65°o of insurers offer discounts to policy holders whose vehicles are fitted with approved devices.
