• The Metropolitan police hay' urged London drivers to be vigi lant after a spate of brick: being thrown from a bridge or the All at passing vehicles.
The first Incident happen& on July 14 at 20:00hrs when i breeze block thrown fron Leyton railway bridge smasher the windscreen of a truck fron fresh produce distributor Fresh Service. Two weeks late a brick ht another Fres! Service truck, and a Norber Dentressangle lorry was tar geted by a brake drum throwi from the bridge on 24 July.
• In a separate incident ; hitchhiker threw a brick at thi windscreen of one of Harlow. based FC Transport's truck: on the slip road from the M2I to the A2 in Dartford.
