Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FODENS are in possession of a letter of intent from a company to buy 250 buses a year when their new double-deck chassis goes into production— this was announced by chairman Bill Foden at a Press conference last week. Mr Foden also said that all the project development costs had been borne by an associated bodybuilding company and Fodens would only be financially involved once production started.

Northern Counties, the Wigan bodybuilders, are the only firm working with Foden on the project, and will body the first chassis. The views of the PTE chief engineers have been sought by Fodens on the new bus and the vehicles produced will conform to their guidelines. The order for 250 buses coulc be from a consortium of th( PTEs or from National But Company, the only concernt big enough to enter such t commitment.

The first of four Foder prototypes is as at present just about to be started and is intended to be ready fol exhibition in November oi December, closely followed b3 a complete vehicle in thf spring of 1976.
