I N an industry as vigorous as motor manufacture, in which constant development is of necessity accompanied by the frequent introduction of new companies and new men to serve it, an accurate and up-to-date directory is almost an essential. Such a volume is the Third Edition of" Who's Who in the Motor Industry," which has just been published by Temple Press Limited, Howling Green Lane, London, E.C,1, at £2 2s.

This 500-page work has four main sections, the first of which lists the manufacturers of cars, commercial vehicles, trailers and caravans, as well as the engine, coachwork and component manufacturers. It also contains the full addresses of head offices and branches, and—a useful and unusual feature—the names of senior-executives. • The second section is devoted to thetrade associations and organizations, their work and officers. A third section of the directory deals with the technical Press serving the industry and the last comprises brief biographies of prominent personalities.

Nearly 100 pages derail the suppliers of equipment and services to the industry and some 2,000 entries list distributors and main dealers. "Who's Who in the Motor Industry" is edited by F. 3. Findon and has been compiled in association with The Commercial Motor and Tire Motor.
