Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

This will be the first major UK road transport and automotive service industry meeting place since 2008. It is aimed at fleet truck and van operators and owner drivers and there are more than 250 exhibitors. And more than 50 of them chose this Show for their exhibition debut.

For three days the CV Operator Show will be the hub of the industry, with firms using it as the main platform to launch new products and services.

Many new vehicle purchases were put on hold by operators last year, so the CV Operator Show fits well with the delayed replacement cycle. This new Show will have a firm engineering focus as it is important that vehicle operators know how to keep existing fleets running longer and more efficiently.

Vehicle operators must also meet an enormous amount of complex legislation. At the Show, visitors will be able to find out about enforcement arid compliance, and discover ways to improve the environmental performance and improve operating costs of their vehicles.

Since 2004, the number of visitors operating vans and light trucks has grown from less than 30% to 52%, representing almost 15,000 buyers last year. We expect several new van launches at the CV Operator Show, with van and light truck makers taking advantage of the focussed attention of media and commercial vehicle operators to promote their products.

Those vans and trucks work across an everwidening range of applications. Leading bodybuilders and converters will show a huge range of ways for operators to get best use of a van or light truck and add to its value.

Despite the recession, we all need to eat and the demand for increasingly sophisticated logistics continues to grow. Fleets, be they van or truck or both, are all working in an intensely competitive environment and anything that helps gain an advantage demands to be checked. At the Show, there is a broad range of fleet management and route planning systems to help cut mileage and fuel and less fuel used also means lower emissions.

Many exhibitors will use their stands as an interactive showcase for visitors, providing technical updates, advice and guidance on the latest technologies. This offers an excellent opportunity for visitors to contribute to their individual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes.

The Show also includes Workshop, with everything for the complementary and vital maintenance workshop and service garage sector including franchised or independent garages, bodyshops, motor factors, fast fit and parts and accessory retailers.

We are delighted to have Reed Transport Group Commercial Motor, Motor Transport and website RoadTransport.com as media partner for the CV Operator Show. This has been a productive arrangement and enabled us to circulate this Guide well in advance of the Show to thousands of visitors.

You may well be reading this before your visit and, if so, we hope you will be making best use of it to plan your time at the Show effectively. There is a huge amount to see and lots of good ideas you can't afford to miss.

Networking opportunities offered by the Show should not be under-estimated, and the Show gives visitors and exhibitors alike the chance to update themselves on both product and industry news.

We hope you have a successful and enjoyable visit to our Show.

Best wishes The CV Show LLP
