gaining popularity, contract hire is developing into an important option. With major asset management businesses moving out of the market, this has opened the door for manufacturers.
"Scania's own finance has become a bigger player, it offers a flexible tool when people are considering a deal. Moving forward, I think manufacturers will have more control over contract hire," Simon Dykes, MD, Haydock Commercials says.
Aftermarket is also a vital selling tool. "The parc was mature but seven years on and its different, we've expanded the parc and it has different customers, the level of service was good and we feel we've taken it to the next level." he says.
