The 40ft trailers — produced )37 Welford Industries Ltd, of itoke-on-Trent in collaboraion with Eastern BRS and the ■ lational Freight Corporation — were needed to transport nixed loads of butane and wopane gas in cylinders Ind/or bottles.
By building the frame, floor ind superstructure in light illoy and fitting Pneuride air ;uspension, the unladen weight has been reduced to 1.32 tonnes (4 tons 5cwt).
