Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Ailsa access

AILSA Bus is considering moving the turbocharger from the top of the engine in its vehicles, in order to lower the profile of the engine cover and allow the driver accesss from the cab is from outside.

This is to make the bus more acceptable to driving staff.

At present the only access to the cab is from outside.

Glasgow fares

BUSMEN at Greater Glasgow PTE agreed on Tuesday of this week to start collecting higher fares introduced by the PTE. On Sunday and Monday some staff charged passengers the old fares as a protest against the increases. Staff were worried about high fares driving Glasgow passengers off the buses.

BUS FARE revenue has been up to £8,000 a week higher than anticipated since Greater Manchester PTE fares went up in October last year.

And the number of passenger trips is also up — by 5.05 per cent in the period from November 14 to January 9, 1977 compared with the same period 12 months ago.

An increase is also shown in the eight weeks before that, with passenger trips 1.21 per cent up.
