Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I' ...the eight-wheeler is a truck often favoured by owner-drivers" Chris Wright

Chris Wright is MD of Commercial Vehicle Auctions. CVA holds sales at Doncaster on two Wednesdays lach month with a throughput of 160-200 commercial vehicles and 80-150 trailers. In addition it has an iuction of plant equipment about every six weeks. Wright also conducts sales around the country at :ustomers' premises.

"Seddon Atkinson is not at the top of everyone's shopping list but the eight-wheeler Is a truck often voured by owner-drivers and small fleets who tend to keep them for a long time. That must say some:hing for the reliability of the Cummins-Eaton-Rockwell combination that has stood the test of time. As with some Imo models, secondhand values are not all they might be but prices are on a par with ERF, which has a similar specification. Most of the vehicles we see equipped with tipper or bulker bodies have ieon looked after and represent good value for the secondhand buyer.

"We still see some with the 110 engines but the best value has to be with the more powerful M11 engines. [he more powerful the better as they will be on top of the Job and still have a good reputation for fuel iconomy. They are mostly with day cabs but those from about 1997 onwards don't appear to rust. Rubber iuspension is the norm and has the advantage of low maintenance costs. We don't see many on steel.
