Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LTHOUGH there is, as yet, no r& acute shortage of male bus drivers, officials. of _Glasgow Transport Department are looking ahead and preparing for the day when won may be called upon to Jake over 'driving duties.. At present it is the practice to allow conductresses to gain some experience by driving buses within the confines of the depot .yards. They are allowed to do this without being holders of licences. So far it has been found that the women experience little difficulty in handling the buses. Should the time come when they are required to drive, the task of training them-will be greatly simplified.
