Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Metroriders, Metrobuses and Ailsas are listed in the Department of 'rransport's latest Vehicle Safety Recalls bulletin, for 1 January-30 June 1989. Some of the Metrorider recalls listed date back to 1987.

Most recent are Telma retarder shafts on Metroriders with CE30 retarders, recall issued in January 1989; and steering tie-rods on 1973-1977 Mark 1 Ailsa B55s, issued in February 1989.

Previously unlisted from December 1988 are anti-roll bar mounting welds, footbrake valves and brake pipework on various batches of Metroriders; brake pedal turnbuckles on Metrobuses built up to February 1988 and from December 1987; and steering box mounting welds on Metroriders built up to April 1987.
