• The Department of Trade and Industry has approved a 50% European Regional Development Fund grant for South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Authority's 27.5 million passenger transport interchange planned for Meadowhall, Sheffield.
A 16-stand bus station and rail station with provision for a light railway, will link with a 200 space park-and-ride car park and a shopping and leisure centre.
