/ Ryder Distribution Services is launching itself into the beverage industry and expects to develop million worth of business within the next 18 months.
John Ball, divisional distribution manager of Ryder's newly established beverage division, says the company has set up a routing and scheduling system which is ideally suited to the multi-drop needs of breweries and soft drinks companies. "We can offer competitive labour rates, flexibility, operational logistics and the management expertise to provide a service which has been tailored to meet the requirements of this market," he says.
The company is advertising for a business development manager for the beverage division with "the sales and marketing skills necessary to professionally present the contracted systems offered by Ryder to this rapidly changing and developing business sector".
