Strapped to a front seat, the Autodesk can accommodate a large number of suspension filing systems in the moulded base, as well as providing trays for pens, envelopes, cassettes and other items. The lid is removable and can be hooked over the steering wheel to become a writing board.
The base measures 440mm (17in) x 440mm (17in) x 270mm (101/2in) and is made from moulded polystyrene which weighs 3kg (61/21b). Held in position by its own strap, the Autodesk stays in position under emergency braking and the contents are prevented from mixing. The Autodesk is fully portable and can be removed and placed in a car boot for security. Cost of the Autodesk is £52.50 excluding VAT.
