OPERATIONAL STREAMLINING of National Carriers Fleetcare has led to eight new regional managers.

These are: Doug Halliday, North, Trevor May, North East, Peter Segebarth, North West, Alan Williams, Midlands, Barry Munt, East Anglia, Keith Risk, London and South East, David Beer, Thames and Solent, and John Flay for South West.

Mr Halliday is a newcomer to Fleetcare and his previous experience includes seven years with Cape Automotive as northern area manager of GKN's replacement service. Before joining Fleetcare he was with MW Motors of Stockton on Tees as general manager.

Trevor May joined National Carriers in 1980 as contract services manager in Birmingham. He has over 20 years' experience in all phases of the automotive division.

Alan Williams joined National Carriers in 1977 as depot manager for Fashionflow at Bristol, His last position before becoming Midlands region manager was Fleetcare eastern regional director, Barry Munt joined the corn pany in 1976 as a fitter. He became eastern regional operations manager at Peterborough in 1982.

Keith Risk joined the company in 1972 as a workshop apprentice in London. His last position was as Fleetcare manager at Leyton since 1982.

David Beer has been involved with British Rail and National Carriers since 1946. His last position before becoming regional manager was as area Fleetcare manager for London South and West in 1982.

John Flay is the eighth new regional manager, having worked for BR and National Carriers since 1946. His most recent position was regional director for Fleetcare in the Western Region.
