Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The latest addition (TC015-411) to the Lucas Kienzle tachograph range indicates and records vehicle engine speed as well as road speed, distance travelled and journey time. An extra cable drive from the engine provides the engine speed signals to the instrument. The number of engine revolutions are counted and displayed on an odometer inside the instrument. In addition, an electrical circuit is provided to actuate a warning signal when a preset engine speed is exceeded.

The tachograph has a diameter of 140mm and is available in 24hr form in several road speed /engine speed ranges with or without two-driver recording, etc.
