• A receiving order has been made against Mr Edgar Cecil Calvert, the head of Calvert Tours of South Bank, and a public examination into the business affairs of Mr Calvert is to be held at Middlesbrough County Court on January 1. The firm has now ceased operations.
The Teesside coach firm was involved in a tragedy at Lealholm last year in which eight old people died when one of Mr Calvert's coaches ran down a steep hill and plunged off the road.
