In this period Bedford registrations had risen 'by 35-4 per cent. More than one in five of alt vans and-trueks sold in.the UK this year were Bedfords; for trucks alone the proportion was 'better than one in four.
Mr. Moore said he was proud of the fact that 45 per cent of all truck exports from Britain this year were 13edfords.
