. King to move dry bulk fertilizer, which can have a serious corrosive effect on many metals. It was introduced to the US 'market in 1962, and has since been used for other agricultural commodities, including cereals

and silage. It attracted attention in the construction industry for handling such materials as sand, gravel and dry and wet cement, and it also has been used to move zinc and wood chips.

Basically, the Beltveyor tubular conveyor consists of a highly flexible 121n. rubber belt travelling through a steel tube 10 in. in diameter. Belt tension and alignment are maintained through two 14 in, stainless steel bolts. There are no buckets; screws, chains or metal-to-metal contact. Thus material can be conveyed fast and gently witifout separating the mix. Capacities range. from 2,000 to 3,000 Ittdmin., depending on the density of the material. It is manufactured in lengths up to 50 ft.

Available accessories include a stinger comprising a .74 in, .heavy-duty endless belt which. travelling at 2,000 ft./min., can direct a stream of matetiar over distances op to 30 ft. or can pile it in storage heaps .upto 30 ft. high.
