The occasion was a conference on the subject of sanitary facilities on British roadS, sponsored by Spring Grove Laundries 1.td. Mr. Bossom's question went unanswered. Perhaps a more practical solution for dealing with this costly. but very necessary, facility was the suggestion made by Mr. Christopher Chataway, MP, that a charge of. say, bd. or Is. should be made for the use of property designed and equipped conveniences with all necessary facilities. After all, 6d. was not much. to charge today for proper facilities of this nature, he said.
