Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

We are indebted to Mr. C. Thompson, who was formerly with John I. Thornycroft and Company, Limited, of Chiswick and London, for advices and photographs in respect of a Thornycroft van which was shipped to India, after purchase by the British-American Tobacco Company, Limited, of 86, Strand, W.C., in the year 1906. Thornycroft vehicles enjoy a considerable vogue in India, both for goods and passenger purposes, and not a few are vised that no trouble has been experienced, other than on one occasion with one of the wheels, and on another occasion with one of the springs.

The manager of this company's supply department, Mr, C. Capron, in a letter to us dated the ith instant,

writes, inter (Ilia : " The results achieved are so satisfactory that we are this year sending out three further vans, making a total of four."

The different itineraries have in

evinced great interest in the progress of the machine and the attractive appearance of its body. The latter is turned to account for the display of large posters, upon which cigarette cartons and other advertisement matter are reproduced in colours, The vehicle travels with the entire kit of the occupants, including tent, bedding, etc., and a very fair impression of the outfit may be gathered from some of the views which we reproduce.
