POLICE ARE appealing for witnesses after a van driver suffered a broken cheek bone when he was assaulted in Humberside.
Five youths have been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries,The attack happened at around 3pm on 9 May on Weelsby Avenue in Grimsby near Winteringham School, Inspector Steve Page says: "It is known that the school was closing at the time and there would have been a large number of pupils and parents around at the time as well as passing traffic.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward."
