Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ALN WICK-BASED KW Purvis has gone into administration with the loss of 20 jobs, — 40 more are hanging in the balance.

The accountancy firm Tait Walker was appointed as administrator on 11 May.

As well as its road haulage fleet Purvis ran civil engineering and plant hire businesses; it also operated a quarry at Longhoughton.

A spokeswoman for the administrator says: -The company is up for sale but it continues to trade under the management of the administrators. We are trying to turn the corner and sell the business as a going concern."

However the spokeswoman declined to say what had caused the firm's financial problems.
