Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Elniversity students sit exams in lorry factory" ran the headline in The Daily Telegraph last week. A Fine example of lateral thinking if you ask me. Luton University is planning to use the former offices at the old AWD plant in Dunstable for its forthcoming examination hall having run out of space on campus.

Vice-chancellor Doctor Tony Wood told CM: 'We've doubled the population of the university and used up all the space. We can't keep large areas free simply for examinations—so we've had to go out and find some big spaces to hold the exams." The AWD site was an obvious choice for the proactive academic. 'When AWD came up we nipped in there and made an offer to the liquidators to hire it for three and a half weeks—the liquidators were very happy." We bet they were. Dr Wood is quick to stress that the examination hall: "Is in fad the old offices, we're not actually in the factory." There's even refreshments laid on.

Considering where the students might of ended up in light of recent education cuts it's a positive brainwave. The Hawk even has a few suggestions for exam questions:

1. "Discuss the impact of the Volvo F88 on British road hauliers."

2. "Leyland Fixed-head 500 engine: A power unit ahead of its time?"

3. "Chart the rise and fall of the British Heavy Truck Industry 1945-1992."

Choose one from the above three, answer in ink, use both sides of the paper. The correct answers qualify you fora Doctorate of Trucknology (DOT).
