Jam a final year student at 1.Nottingham University conducting research into the causes of fatigue and backache in truck drivers and the design of cabs and controls.
I am very interested in the experience of your readers and would be glad to hear their views on the design of truck cabs. I have been able to talk to drivers of various makes of truck but not all makes of the larger tractor units. I would be grateful for information from these and particularly I am looking for an owner-driver who would be willing to be videoed at work. I can be contacted at the following address.
