Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A driver who risked his life to save a young family from injury and probable death has been rewarded for his actions by Sir Peter Thompson, chairman of employee-owned National Freight Consortium. BRS driver Alan Jones was presented with the award at a ceremony last week in Cardiff.

Davis was on the M4 heading home to Cardiff when a car overtook his truck, swerved out of control, hit the central reservation crash barrier and turned over in the outside lane of the motorway. Jones pulled his vehicle across the central and outside lanes to shield the car from the other traffic. He ran to the car, wrenched the door open and managed to rescue Mr Lucas, his wife and 13 month-old baby.

Once the ambulance had taken the family away, Jones also salvaged what he could from the wreck.

Police and firemen on the scene praised Jones for his courage in the face of a potentially lethal situation.
