• Northern Ireland Trailers (Scotland) Ltd, a member of the P & 0 European and air transport division, has instituted a new Irish Sea ro-ro freight service. It offers a fast overnight crossing between Ardrossan/ Lame, Larne/Ardrossan with a sailing time scheduled at less than three hours. Scheduled evening departure times and arrivals are planned to provide maximum convenience and speed to meet the needs of wheeled traffic and unitized cargo moving between Scotland, Ulster and the Republic of Ireland.
The major depot and administration headquarters are at 85 Polmadie Road, Glasgow, with matching depots in Ireland.
