To celebrate 20 years in the business, Commercial Vehicle Auctions ICVA1 will be staging a three-day auction and hosting a gala dinner.

Words: Kevin Swallow COMMERCIAL Vehicle Auctions (CVA) is celebrating 20 years in the industry by holding a three-day auction sale selling trucks, trailers, plant and vans at Doncaster.

The event starts on 24 March 2009 at 10.00 with its truck and trailer sale. CVA is expecting to have more than 700 trucks, trailers and vans going under the hammer.

Ross Dalton, auctioneer and business development manager, says: "The current economic climate is challenging for every business at present, which is why CVA is ideally placed to assist vendors in realising asset values, and allowing buyers to acquire second-user assets that will assist their business to go forward.

"The three-day auction will be an ideal opportunity for vendors and buyers to continue [sic] take time out to raise a glass to CVA and look forward to the next 20 years of continuing growth in true partnership fashion," he says.

Part of the event will be a gala evening that will be held at the Keepmoat Stadium Doncaster, on the 24 March 2009, which is by invitation only. There will be a charity auction to raise funds for the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

CVA also has a second site in Belfast Northern Ireland and is part of the Ballyvesey Group. •
