• Northwich-based chemicals distributor James Coffer)/ & Son has been bought by Cumbria firm Brady Distribution for an undisclosed sum.
Forty drivers and all but one of the staff are now working for Brady; the Coffery vehicles will eventually be liveried in Brady's colours.
Brady already handles warehousing and distribution for chemicals supplier Albright & Wilson; Caffery's Northwich site becomes the new firm's trunking and consignment consolidation centre.
