The PVOA holds its first national conference in London next Thursday, organized jointly with CM. In next week's issue we shall be carrying summaries of the papers— dealing with rural transport problems, accident prevention, business efficiency, and the selling of passenger services. (The April 2 issue will carry a full report of the conference itself).
Other items of particular interest in the March 26 number will include:—
Competing with air freight, the story of a small operator's profitable growth; Know the Law looks at some motorway regulations—when you can and cannot legally stop; Common Room recommends a means of pacing one's approach to examinations; and Handyman takes a look on how to make a useful workshop tool.
