• E. W. Taylor and Co (Forwarding) Ltd, whose head office is in 7 to 17 Jewry Street, London, has opened a branch office in Dover which provides a 24-hr general freight forwarding service dealing particularly with perishable and refrigerated products. The manager is Mr D. G. Dixon.
Grangewood Transport Ltd, a member of the E. W. Taylor group, has formed an operating association with Rotterdam Ferry Trailers. Their combined fleet of 50 trailers of 10, 11 and 12 metres, each with a carrying capacity of 18 to 20 tons, transports mainly cool or heated products at temperatures varying from —30deg C to +15deg C. The companies have offices at London, Dover, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Europort, and Antwerp.
