LONDON TRANSPORT bus workers are planning a demonstration in protest at proposed cuts in bus services.
It will be organised by the LT Trade Union Defence Committee, and is to take place on July 10 to draw attention to what the unions see as the need for changes in law following the Law Lords ruling last December.
The Transport and General Workers' Union has asked the Trades Union Congress transport committee to back the demonstration. The Union has also dismissed LT's five per cent pay offer to bus workers as unacceptable.
