TYNE AND WEAR County Council has warned that if independent operator Low Fell Coaches is successful in its application to run a cross-Tyne bus service, it will implement a series of cuts on Passenger Transport Executive services in the area.
The council's operation subcommittee approved the cuts, which will consist mainly of Sunday service reductions in the Gateshead area, when it met on May 9.
