I Association has protested to Hastings Publicity Committee against their proposal to communicate to the Railway Executive the names and addresses of party organizers who inquire of the corporation about day visits. The public relations officer of the town has pointed out that the practice is not adopted elsewhere and that no action has been taken.

It was a condition of the scheme, which was studied at the Executive's suggestion, that the corporation should be satisfied that similar arrangements were already in operation in other areas. A28
