The two chassis are similar except in respect of wheelbase, chassis weight, u40

etc. .The engine is a six-cylindered Continental, 2i ins. in the bore by 4i-in. stroke, rated at 19.48 h.p. (S.A.E. rating.) It is capable of a maximum output of 44 h.p. at 2,800 r.p.rn. The power is transmitted through a 10-in. • singleplate clutch and .a propeller shaft with Spicer joints to the bevel-driven rear axle which runs on Timken • bearhws. The front axle is a drop forging

beam section. Timken bearings are employed in the wheels. The frame is of pressed channel, 5i ins, deep at the centre section, tapering to ins, deep at the rear.

The cast malleable wheels with hollow spokes are equipped with Goodyear rims and 30-in. by 5-in, heavy truck tyres. The petrol tank is carried behind the dashboard, the fuel flowing by gravity to the carburetter. The radia tor is a patented design, having a nonburstable core in an enamelled pressedsteel shell, which, however, can be nickel-plated at a slight extra cost. 'The Deleo-Itemy electric equipment Provides for starting, lighting and ignition, and includes electric headlamps, tail lamp and dashlight, whilst the accessories include an ammeter, oil gauge, speedometer, jack, pump, and the usual tools.

The total chassis weight of the smaller model, without its cab, is

20/ cwt. The 'overall length of the chassis is 15 ft. 5/ ins. whilst the body space from the rear of the seat to the end of the frame is 7 ft. The wheelbase of the 20-25-ewt. model is 9-ft. 10 ins., and of the larger model 10 ft. 10 ins., the track being 4 ft. 8 ins. front and rear.*
