SOON there will be more veteran vehicle rallies than bingo sessions. The latest addition to the nostalgic calendar is a run from Enfield to Cambridge on July 27 for up to 280 cars, buses and lorries dating from the turn of the century to the It is being staged by Enfield and District Veteran Vehicle Trust and sponsored by British Car Auctions. Entry is by invitation and only vehicles restored to the highest standard will be accepted. The organisers hope it will become an annual event.
