Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

William Leese has been appointed to succeed George Brook as general manager of Ribble Motor Services Ltd. As previously announced (CM June 21). Mr. Brook is relinquishing his general managership at the end of September and is to be appointed to executive directorship in bus subsidiaries of the Transport Holding Company. Mr. Leese, after serving with the North Western Road Car Co i Ltd. from 1926, joined East Midland Motor Services Ltd. as traffic manager in 1948. Four years later he became general manager of that company and in 1955 took up a similar post with the Trent Motor Traction Co. Ltd. He is at present general manager of the North Western company, a position he has held since 1962.
