A BERFELDY MOTOR COACHES rA LTD., which operates bus services between Aberfeldy and Pittochry via Ballinluig, has warned Perth County Council that despite Dr. Beeching's proposal to close the Aherfeldy-Ballinluig railway line it cannot guarantee to continue the bus service.
The company said in a letter that the revenue from the services was "quite inadequate ". It could not give a longterm undertaking to provide bus replacements for the withdrawn rail services unless there was the prospect of obtain:ng financial assistance in the form of a national or local subsidy.
