QUARRY OPERATORS warn that their haulage costs could rise by per tonne if a weight restriction is introduced in Wiltshire.
The county council is considering a restriction on the B3092 in Maiden Bradley but the Freight Transport and the Road Haulage Associations warn this is a key route for delivering aggregates from the nearby Mendip Hills.
