Cab Heater
• Webasto Thermosystems has produced what it claims is its most advanced (..1) heater yet. The Airtop 2000 hearer incorporates a ceramic glowpin which lasts up to 10 times longer than conventional glowplugs and requires a mere 80 watts at start-up. Cab comfort is enhanced by whisper quiet operation, says Webasto, and has variable heat settings. It is the smallest of cab heaters in its class and can be fitted to any cab in a variety of ways.

Axle weigher
• Axtec has developed a surface,moimted single-axle weighbridge that the firm says is inexpensive to install and easy to relocate. A weatherproof 100mm, highvisibility display shows individual axle and gross weights to within 20kg accuracy per axle, without the driver leaving the cab. It costs £4,995.
